For me, there is nothing better than being able to do something I love – and I love photography. I love capturing moments in time that are almost invisible to the naked eye and recording them forever. A crooked smile from a kid, the frothy movement of a mountain waterfall, the spirited colors of happy people.
And, because I think it’s important for you to know a little bit about me before I take your picture, you should know this: I love tea. I love blankets. I love boxes. I have called Michigan home most of my life but have spent short amounts of time living in Spain and in the woods along the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. I love being outside but I hate being cold. Fresh fruit and farmer’s markets make me happy. I love to cook. I married my high school sweetheart. I am in awe at the kindness of strangers. I am persistent. I love the smell of a campfire and the sound of a train. I think Maine is the way life should be. I love the apple orchard.
I love to photograph life and all of the adventures along the way. I am a details person – and I hope to share these details here.
