daylight savings

I was so happy to spring the clocks forward this past weekend for daylight savings. While many people groaned about losing an hour of sleep, I am just thrilled that we’ll be getting the sun in the evenings for much longer now! The sun makes me feel productive and more calm because I am almost tricked into believing there are more hours in the day and I don’t have to cram everything into the few hours before the sun goes down and I turn into a werewolf. Of course that’s not true but, hey, if I can trick myself – great! So, in thinking about the sun and the wonderful weather in store, I was reminded of this photo I took back in October. I just love what the light of the sun does here to create a little palette of colors that I wouldn’t have seen with just my eyes.  What a pleasant day. Well, pleasant until the electric fence (which was NOT marked) gave me a huge jolt when I got too close…
