Jody and Don had a most perfect wedding day in Lansing last weekend with gorgeous weather, many friends from near and far, and lots of laughter and love. When I arrived to the Lansing Radisson, where Jody was getting ready, I immediately knew it was going to be a great day. Jody was obviously determined to enjoy every last moment of her wedding day which is something I totally loved about her right from the beginning. As the day unfolded and all of the lovely details came together, it was clear that their wedding was something they’d been waiting for and now that it was finally here, all was as it should be with the world!
Here are some of my most favorite from the day!
These little flower girls totally stole my heart – they were absolutely adorable!
We had to be stealthy on the way over to The Lansing Center for the ceremony so the guys didn’t see us!
Once we got there, we found some incredible light:

This little guy was one of the ring bearers and he LOVED having his picture taken!
And the other ring bearer, Don’s son, Braylon, was helping his dad get ready. Too cute!
This little bunch stole the show! They all came down the aisle together with Braylon pulling everyone along – he was so excited!

And as soon as Jody and Don saw each other, they were all smiles. Well, except for the tears that welled up in Jody’s eyes which Don carefully wiped away… I love it!
After the ceremony, we headed to the Michigan State Capitol for some photos. The light was amazing!

Congratulations, Don and Jody! It was truly an honor to be a part of your beautiful day so thank you! I wish you all the happiness in the world.
