Nelson and His Holiday Cheer

Last year I felt like Christmas snuck right up on me. The holiday music came on the radio much too soon, the crowds were much too big, and I just wanted to make it all slow down. Somehow, this year, things feel a little slower and I’m finding myself searching out Christmas tunes and getting excited to decorate the tree and deck the halls.

The other day, I got together with my friend, Carrie, and her dog, Nelson, for some holiday photo fun which made me feel even more excited for the holidays. Carrie had concocted a fabulously styled shoot for her pup which involved costume changes, a fireplace, and one super cute stocking. Well, as it turns out, Nelson wasn’t big into playing near the fireplace, which, on any other day, of course, is a good thing. But he was a great sport about all the rest of our plans. I wanted to share a little of our holiday fun here just in case it helps bring the spirit into someone else’s home too. And, since today is Carrie’s birthday, I thought she might like to see a preview of her favorite pup. Happy birthday, Carrie, I hope you enjoy!
