Last weekend we spent a good portion of Sunday outside with Eric’s family having lots of outdoor excitement – flying kites, flying airplanes, riding tricycles, and throwing balls. Who knew there were so many options?! I love a day spent outdoors. Fresh air, rosy cheeks and a calming tired feeling at the end of the day, and lovely smells. How refreshing. 
Well, this weekend, I’m heading out of town for some more outdoor fun. I’m heading to Trail Days in Damascus, Virginia, to meet up with some hiking friends, feed some hungry thru-hikers, and celebrate past adventures on the Appalachian Trail. We might even get a hike in nearby! I’m definitely looking forward to the road trip. I’m sure I’ll have lots of concerts in my car along the way… and I’ll be sure to post photos from the trip next week (well, from the festivities – not from my solo concerts).
