Sara and I used to talk about the details of her wedding almost daily. I was lucky enough to both get to know her through our day jobs as well as to sit approximately three feet away from her so it wasn’t hard to stay updated on her plans and to see her excitement as she talked about her then-fiance, Brandon. She was always smiling when she talked about Brandon. When I finally saw the two of them together for their engagement session, I saw how she was always smiling when she was with Brandon. And how his smile never seemed to fade away the entire time either. I thought about this I watched their entire wedding day unfold. The smiles were still there each and every time they looked at each other. Sara makes Brandon smile deeply and Brandon makes Sara smile always. During their first look, they laughed. During our time taking portraits at the beach, they laughed. After they came back down the aisle as husband and wife, they looked at each other and, with giant smiles on their faces, hugged a tight hug and laughed. And this was my favorite moment of the day.

Brandon was so patient as he waited for his bride. Because they decided to set aside time for a “first look,” we had plenty of time for photos in some gorgeous settings and Sara and Brandon we so relaxed knowing they were already together. I love it!
This is just after they explained to me they had taken a few dance lessons which no one knew about so they could have a great first dance. Sara asked if I could capture them practicing the dip! You rocked that dip, Sara.

The sprinkles and rain clouds cleared the way for the most beautiful day so Sara and Brandon could get married right on the golf course at Above & Beyond – it was a gorgeous setting.

You guys are clearly brilliant together and I hope I have captured even a small bit of that for you to revisit for the rest of your lives together.
